Gifts to Berklee/BoCo SNATS contribute to...
We are the Berklee/Boston Conservatory student chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (SNATS)! We were formed in Spring 2023, and have continued growing our club with an open door policy that allows anyone who's interested to attend our events! We welcome any students who are curious about all things voice related: vocal pedagogy, voice teaching, voice performance, and voice science and research.
Our mission is to inspire a passionate inclusive community of students and teachers of the art and science of singing. The chapter will also strive to be a community that works to promote a variety of singing styles to instill lifelong learning and enrich its surrounding communities including BCM/BCB, and the NATS organization.
So far, we have hosted a few networking events which provide an opportunity for students from both the college and the conservatory to meet, we have invited guest speakers to present at our meetings on topics such as group voice pedagogy, voice studio success, and K-Pop vocal pedagogy!
With the funds raised during Giving Day, we hope to extend more opportunities for networking events, bringing in prominent speakers in the field of voice performance, teaching, and research, and attending and presenting at local and national NATS conferences!
Support your favorite student club by voting in the Giving Day Voting Challenge! The club with the most votes by 3:00 PM on March 6 will win a $1,000 prize to support their initiatives. Every vote helps bring visibility and resources to student-led organizations at Berklee.
