Gifts to The Broadway Band contribute to...
The Broadway Band is a club featuring student orchestrations of popular musical theater songs, directed and performed by students. Producing two orchestral shows and one acoustic show each year, the Broadway Band is the premiere group of the musical theater genre on the Berklee campus. The Broadway Band has performed in a wide variety of venues, including the Berklee performance center, including their "Night at the Movies" orchestral show in the fall. This semester, the Broadway Band is moving once again off campus: to the Huntington Theatre!
Your donation allows this unique group to continue to offer students tangible industry experience as orchestrators, copyists, music directors, pit musicians, and performers. This donation also helps pay for the rental.
We will use the funds to rent off-campus spaces and other necessary expenses that come with this (renting sound equipment, paying engineers, etc.) Performing off-campus gives our club the opportunity to grow, connect with the community, and create even bigger shows.
Support your favorite student club by voting in the Giving Day Voting Challenge! The club with the most votes by 3:00 PM on March 6 will win a $1,000 prize to support their initiatives. Every vote helps bring visibility and resources to student-led organizations at Berklee.
