Gifts to The Garden contribute to...
The Garden is Berklee's poetry club, a space for literary lovers to band together over a passion for the written word. Our mission is to provide an inspiring environment for exploring and creating poetry. We have regularly at least twenty+ members at each meeting, with more banding together for outside events like improvised dance-poetry collab nights, trips to museums and cafes, and Poetry on the Spot, our campaign to bring poetry to the unprepared passersby, where we take our official club typewriter out on campus or into Boston and write free, on-the-spot poetry. The Garden has become a deeply knit community for using our artistic voices to reach and connect with others.
We hope to use the funds to fully edit and publish a physical book of student work at the end of the semester, to showcase all our efforts and share our poetry with our community!
