Founded on August 17, 2021 the Africana Studies Division at Berklee is on a mission to emerge as the preeminent global hub where mastery in performance and academic excellence intersect to reflect the brilliance, resilience and hope of Black Creative Expression. Everything we do is student centered, staff/ faculty driven, local/ global community engaged and always with emphasis on radical hospitality.
