The Berklee Law Club exists to support artists, creators, and music professionals by making legal knowledge accessible, practical, and empowering. We serve Berklee students across all majors who want to understand their rights, protect their work, and navigate the music industry with confidence without needing a legal background.
Through workshops, guest speakers, panels, and collaborations, we break down complex topics like contracts, copyright, intellectual property, and ownership in ways that directly impact creative careers. Our goal is to help artists advocate for themselves, avoid exploitation, and make informed decisions as they build sustainable careers.
Funding will support artist-focused programming, including industry trips, guest speakers, and continued advocacy for artist rights.
Support your favorite student club by voting in the Giving Day Voting Challenge! Each club will receive a share of the $2,500 prize pool in proportion to its share of total votes. Every vote helps bring visibility and resources to student-led organizations at Berklee.
Keep in Mind:
- A prize pool of $2,500 will be awarded
- Voting closes at 2:00 p.m. on March 4, 2026
- Each person can vote only once (people can't vote for multiple clubs)
- Funds will be divided proportionally based on each club’s percentage of total votes
Winners will be announced at the Student Club Giving Day Station at 2:00 pm in the 160 Mass Ave Lobby.
