Gifts to Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra contribute to...
The Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra (BMPO) is a cross-collegiate, student-run full orchestra of 70+ members that performs student-arranged film music each semester. As the largest student-run ensemble at Berklee, the BMPO continues its efforts in sharing their passion for music through concerts each semester.
This year is extra special because the BMPO is celebrating its 10-Year anniversary of creating a home for many Boston students and alumni. Your support would help us build a wonderful concert to honor all the members who have set their legacy with us, and set us up to continue growing in the future.
Receiving adequate funding to put on our performances would:
● Benefit various communities and artists at Berklee;
● Contribute to the Boston community by providing entertaining and captivating shows for various audiences;
● Allow performers (instrumentalists, vocalists, conductors) to share their passion and gain performance experience;
● Give arrangers the chance to build and utilize their skills in real-world experiences and build their portfolios; and
● Give students the opportunity to gain critical experience in administration roles such as directing, producing, librarian, and public relations work
The Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra aims to foster a wonderful community for people with shared passions and has built an incredible legacy in the process. Putting together concerts each semester is a part of what makes the ensemble so special, and we would be incredibly grateful for any contributions that allow us to continue giving students the chance to do what they love. Please spread the word, and keep an eye out for our future performances!
